We provide various opportunities to be fed with God's Word and to go and help fed others.
prayer
Prayer is a huge part of our daily lives as we are continually seeking God's leading and guiding on a daily basis.
We here at Bethel Lutheran Church see how inportant prayer was for believers throughout history and the mighty works God does through it. We therefore hold prayer as very important for all along with daily devotions.
picnics/campground praise & worship
Memorial Day-Labor Day we have neighborhood picnics in the Church yard on every other Wednesday night starting at 6:30pm with BBQ and games.
We also have a wonderful time out at the Riverside Campground on everyother Saturday at 7pm with Praise & Worship music, a message, and an ice cream social.
sunday school
We have year round Sunday School for preschool to Adult classes. We see the importance of digging deeper into God's Word and sharing together as we learn Biblical truths. We see ourselves as a family and Sunday School is just another way that we can be together and share life.
youth
As a church in Platte, SD, we have a unique opportunity when it comes to youth and children's programs. The churches of Platte have joined together and work together to share and teach the youth (Middle School & High School) through a community Youth Group that meets on Wednesday Nights from 7:30-8:30pm. Awana's is also on Wednesday nights. Call for details.
music
Music at Riverside Campgrounds every other Saturday. Sponsored by Bethel Lutheran Church.
Community Worship Services
Again we have the unqueness here in Platte in that we have many Community Worship Services that we participate in such as Lent Services, Thanksgiving Service, and 4th of July Service. We seek to work together with the other Christian Churches in town as we all work in harmony with each other. We believe this is a great testimony to non-believers and believers of the power and love of Jesus Christ.
